Salon Policies & Client Guidelines

To provide every client with a professional, private and high-quality experience, we kindly ask that all clients read and respect our salon policies before booking.

1. APPOINTMENTS

Appointments are reserved exclusively for the client who made the booking. Please arrive on time and ready for your scheduled service.

2. GRACE PERIOD

We allow a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals.

Arrivals beyond 15 minutes may result in the appointment being cancelled or the service being shortened, depending on availability. The appointment may still be charged in accordance with our cancellation policy.

3. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be subject to the full booking fee.

Repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in the client being restricted from making future appointments.

4. NO-SHOWS

If you do not attend your appointment and have not contacted us in advance, the appointment will be considered a no-show and the full booking amount will be due.

Future appointments may require full payment in advance or may no longer be accepted.

5. NO EXTRA GUESTS

Our salon operates by appointment only.

No additional guests are permitted, including friends, partners or family members.

Please arrive alone unless an accompanying person has been specifically approved by the salon in advance.

6. NO CHILDREN

For safety, hygiene and the comfort of our clients, children are not permitted in the salon during appointments.

Please make appropriate childcare arrangements before attending your appointment.

7. DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS

A deposit may be required to secure an appointment. Your appointment is not confirmed until the required deposit has been received.

Deposits are non-refundable and are subject to our cancellation and rescheduling policy.

Any remaining balance must be paid in full at the end of the appointment.

8. SERVICE TIMES

Please allow sufficient time for your appointment. Service times are estimates and may vary depending on hair condition, length, density, previous treatments and the service being performed.

Please do not schedule another commitment immediately after your appointment.

9. HAIR & SERVICE CONSULTATION

Clients are required to provide accurate information regarding previous colour treatments, chemical services, extensions, products and any other relevant hair history.

We reserve the right to decline or modify a service if we determine that the requested service may compromise the health or integrity of the hair.

10. RESPECT & PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT

We are committed to maintaining a respectful and professional environment.

Abusive, disrespectful, threatening or inappropriate behaviour towards our team will not be tolerated.

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate an appointment where necessary.

11. PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Clients are responsible for their personal belongings while visiting the salon. Ella’s Hair & Beauty Lounge cannot be held responsible for lost, damaged or unattended personal items.

12. POLICY ACCEPTANCE

By booking an appointment with Ella’s Hair & Beauty Lounge, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to our salon policies.
